(ECNS) -- At the doorway of Zhaodajian paper-cut studio in Shulinzhao Town hang two giant works of art. They shocked visitors with magnificence.

The work Five-thousand-year Chinese History fully illustrates the history and development of Chinese civilization.

Another work is 140 meters long Chronicle of Chinese Farmers. It presents typical scenes of farming and herding life during different historical eras.

These works were created by 64-years-old Zhao Meiling, an inheritor of intangible cultural heritage of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

Zhao grew obsessed with paper cutting as a young girl and practiced it by herself after learning from family elders.
