'Light of China' pavilion to rock Expo 2020 Dubai

(ECNS) -- The Expo 2020 Dubai will host the world from Oct. 1, 2021 until Mar. 31, 2022.

Construction of the expo's China Pavilion has been mostly completed.

The pavilion is named "Light of China" and its architectural design has profound meaning.

Traditional Chinese architectural elements like brackets and flower panes have been integrated into the construction of the main building, which looks like a magnificent Chinese lantern.

China's achievements in space exploration, information technology, modern transportation, and artificial intelligence will be presented at the pavilion in four motifs, including "Common Dream," "Common Earth," "Common Home" and "Common Future."

The China Pavilion will hold a series of key events including the Opening Ceremony on Oct. 1, 2021, the China National Pavilion Day on Jan.1, 2022, and the Promotion of Chinese culture on Chinese New Year 2022.
