Micro-sculptor carves traditional Chinese-style buildings on coffee beans

(ECNS) -- Wang Jianhai, a provincial inheritor of Changzhou micro-carving technique, spent several days carving the buildings of Qingguo Lane, one of the city's oldest lanes, on the coffee beans.

Wang said his artworks are not only an innovative attempt at micro-carving technique but also a way for locals to better understand intangible cultural heritage.

This centuries-old Qingguo Lane was once home to many talented people, so it is also known as the "No.1 Lane of Jiangnan's Celebrities."
