(ECNS) -- More than 10 foreign students from the Communication University of China were taught Tibetan paper-making techniques, a national Chinese intangible cultural heritage, in Nyemo County, Lhasa City, Tibet Autonomous Region.

Tibetan paper is made from the bark and root of Chinese stellera, a plant containing poisonous substances strong enough to keep moths and mice away.

Some students also learned how to write the transliteration of their names in Tibetan.
