(ECNS) -- Fashion and trend activities were held at Lanzhou Cultural and Creative Industrial Park in Gansu Province.

Many cosers dressed up as characters from Chinese comics soon became the focus of the event.

Coser Baimao (pseudonym) has been in the comic circle for six years. He said the global comic circle is highly inclusive.

They welcome comics no matter where they are from. Baimao was born after the 2000s, a period that exposed him to more domestic comics.

Unlike people born in the 80s and 90s who enjoyed World of Warcraft or StarCraft, people like Baomao are more familiar with Chinese comics, such as Honor of Kings and Gujian.

"The momentum of Chinese comics at present is quite strong. People have gradually accepted Hanfu (the traditional Chinese costumes) and ethnic costumes. It is a positive signal," said Baimao.

Domestic games have increased. When I play Chinese comic games with my buddies, I can feel their charisma. The games all feature complicated plots, he added.

In these games, we can realize our childhood dreams of "being a hero", he said.

Chinese comics have gained wide-spread box-office popularity. Senior cosmic fan Moshui (pseudonym), six years in the circle, used to cosplay characters in Japanese comics, but this time she chose Jialuo, a character in Honor of Kings.

"Cosplay is a culture and cosers should spread Chinese comics to the world. The tendency is shifting from Japanese to Chinese comics. Domestic comics are becoming better. We will cosplay more characters in our comics," said Moshui.
