(ECNS) -- Inside the workshop of Great Wall Motor's Xushui Branch in Baoding, Hebei Province, no workers are seen buzzing along with production. Instead, more than 500 robots do assembly welding and transfer work.

At this largest SUV production base in China, robotic arms work precisely while conveyor belts transport various components. The welding workshop is the only workshop in the industry that achieves a 100 percent automation rate.

Four fully automated production lines have been built in the stamping workshop, all of which adopt a fully enclosed production mode along the whole line, effectively reducing noise and ensuring quality and safety. One line uses a mechanical arm feeding mode with automatic cleaning and oiling functions. Intelligent manufacturing has been integrated into all links of production.
