New tech: Brainwaves help drive car

(ECNS) -- A set of four-wheel drive powered by brainwaves was displayed at an Intelligence Innovation center in north China's Shanxi Province.

Developed by a Beijing-based technology company, the four-wheel drive requires a user to wear a headband with sensors inside, which can detect brainwaves.

The car will run when the user is in high degree of concentration, or else it will stop.

At present, such intelligent products have been applied in the fields of education and medical treatment.
