87-year-old grandma becomes painter after a decade of study

(ECNS) -- Wang Bingxiu, 87, a farmer of the Bai ethnic group at Shuanglang Town, Dali City, Yunnan Province, has learned painting from an artist for a decade.　

Depicting her daily life in her paintings, she has created many wonderful works that present the life and culture of the Bai people.

Her paintings are characterized by bold colors and simple compositions.

She has held art exhibitions in Beijing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou and other places.

Wang said painting has broadened her horizon and made her very happy.
