Elderly farmer crazy about astronomy

(ECNS) -- Wu Shiying, a 71-year-old Chinese farmer, is fascinated by astronomical phenomena.

He has built a 2-floor-observatory by his house and bought a giant telescope for his hobby.

Wu has engaged in astronomical observation for about 30 years and watched 11 solar eclipses.

His footprints are all over the country and abroad.

Wu said he plans to go to Indonesia next year to watch another solar eclipse.
