Self-driving touristic route launched in North China

(ECNS)-- The first touristic route for self-driving cars was lanunched in Cangzhou City, Hebei Provinceon on Wednesday.

A batch of Level 4 autonomous vehicles made their debut, offering citizens a unique sight-seeing experience.

The routes, including west and east lines, are themed on sci-tech and historical culture.

The city has invested heavily in the intelligent network to facilitate the roll out of autonomous driving, totaling 229km of test roads.

A self-driving taxi service was launched here in May.
