Amputee climbers aim high

(ECNS)--Altogether 22 amputee climbers, including four double-amputees, met at the foot of Mount Song in Henan Province on Sunday.

Partially by cableway, 16 reached the over-1km-high mountain top.

Their leader said the group aims to conquer the five most famous mountains in the country, with Mount Song first on the list.

The challenge serves to encourage more disabled adventurers to embrace life with an active attitude.
