Parrot chicks fallen from nest nurtured by parents

(ECNS) -- Two newborn parrots that fell from their nest were rescued by villagers in Simao District of Puer City, Yunnan Province, who delivered them to a local animal protection institute.

Two adult parrots, who appeared to be the nestlings' parents, took turns to care for them during their convalescence.

The two chicks were ready to take flight over a month later and subsequently released to nature.
