Exhibition on Chinese Spring Festival opens in Beijing

(ECNS) -- An exhibition on auspicious Spring Festival symbols has opened at the National Museum of China.

The exhibition includes 37 sets of cultural relics and over 120 contemporary paintings and calligraphy works.

Most are on show for the first time.

Highlights include rat-themed cultural relics, like a blue and white porcelain pot of Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) origins featuring squirrel and grape patterns.

The exhibition will last until Feb. 29.
