Special birthday present for giant panda Chengxiao as it turns 8

(ECNS) -- Giant panda Chengxiao has celebrated his 8th birthday at Yancheng Safari Park in Changzhou City, East China's Jiangsu Province.
Zoo keepers prepared a special birthday cake for the panda, using bamboo as a container to hold some of the animal's favorite food.
Chengxiao weighed just 63 grams when born in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province.
Today, the male panda weighs 122 kilograms. According to a zoo keeper, Chengxiao is now at the age of maturity and efforts will be made to find a female mate for him.
