(ECNS) -- A surgical robot made its debut at Summer Davos in Dalian, Liaoning Province, on Monday.
The fourth generation Da Vinci Robot can take pictures in real time, providing doctors with a 3D high-definition view of the surgical site that can be magnified 10 times.
It only makes four to six holes at 8 mm during surgery, ensuring patients a quicker recovery.
The surgeon's movements are exactly synchronous with the robotic arm, without any delay.
It proved more stable than a human hand, making the operation much safer. It required only one or two doctors to help change surgical instruments.
