Xishuangbanna National Nature Reserve: a paradise for plants and animals

Xishuangbanna National Nature Reserve, a natural gem nestled within the Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China's Yunnan Province, comprises five sub-reserves: Mengyang, Menglun, Mengla, Shangyong, and Mangao, covering a total area of 242,510 hectares.

Established in 1958, it is home to China's largest and most intact tropical rainforest ecosystem.
