Zhejiang dominates women's team compound finals at National Para Games
Shenzhen's archery range delivered tidy doubles for Zhejiang on Wednesday at China's 12th National Para Games.
In the women's team compound W1 final, Zhejiang controlled the contest from the start, leading 34-29 after the first round. Wang Liya did the heavy lifting in the second, extending the advantage to eight, and her side never looked back. Zhejiang closed out a convincing 142-120 win over Jiangsu, while Shanghai rounded out the podium with bronze.
Zhejiang had to work harder in the women's team open compound final, en route to edging Sichuan 152-149. The contest began evenly, with the two teams knotted 37-37 after the first round. Sichuan briefly took a one point lead in the second, but Zhejiang recovered in the final two rounds to snatch the title, with Guangdong taking third place.
