Australian Immigration Minister Alex Hawke on Friday cancelled Novak Djokovic's visa, the second time the Australian government has cancelled the visa of the world tennis No.1 over his right to enter the country despite being unvaccinated against COVID-19.

"Today I exercised my power under section 133C(3) of the Migration Act to cancel the visa held by Mr Novak Djokovic on health and good order grounds, on the basis that it was in the public interest to do so," Hawke said in a statement.

Djokovic is in Australia to play in the Australian Open, which begins on Monday.
