Chinese mainland records 192 new confirmed COVID-19 cases

(ECNS) -- The Chinese mainland recorded 192 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Monday, with 110 locally transmitted cases and 82 from overseas, according to the National Health Commission on Tuesday.

Of the 110 local cases, 87 were from Henan Province, 13 from Shaanxi Province, and 10 from Tianjin.

A total of 50 new asymptomatic cases were also recorded, and 721 asymptomatic patients remain under medical observation.

The total confirmed number of case on the Chinese mainland reached 103,968 by January 10.
