'Hi, Mom' continues domination of China box office chart

Domestic comedy "Hi, Mom" continued to lead daily box office chart on the Chinese mainland Wednesday, raking in over 97 million yuan (about 15 million U.S. dollars).

The film generated nearly 4.4 billion yuan in 13 days of screening, according to figures from the China Movie Data Information Network Thursday.

"Detective Chinatown 3," the second-highest-grossing film on Wednesday, finished the day with 37.02 million yuan in revenue.

Chinese comedy-drama "Endgame" ranked third with a daily earning of about 21.72 million yuan.
