Chinese border city completes COVID-19 tests for all residents

The China-Russia border city of Manzhouli in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region completed COVID-19 testing for all residents on Tuesday afternoon, according to local authorities.

Mass testing came after two new locally-transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported on November 21 in the city.

The regional health commission said in its daily report that two patients are currently undergoing treatment at a local hospital, adding epidemiological surveys into the cases and the related screening work are underway.
