At least 3 dead as traffic collisions leave over 10 vehicles ablaze

At least three people were killed and six injured after three road accidents left more than 10 vehicles ablaze on a foggy Tuesday morning in northwest China's Shaanxi Province, authorities said.

Multiple vehicles crashed successively around 7 a.m. on an expressway bridge in the city of Tongchuan, according to the city's publicity department.

The expressway links Baotou City of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Maoming of Guangdong Province.

More than 10 vehicles caught fire. The open flames of the fire have been extinguished.

Rescuers continue to search for any remaining victims.
