(ECNS) -- China and South Korea reached an agreement Wednesday to open a "fast track" for business travelers between both countries.

The “fast-track", effective May 1, will simplify related entry procedures.

Travelers include those from business, logistics, industrial production and technical services, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated online.

Chinese business personnel will be able to travel to all parts of South Korea while counterparts can visit 10 Chinese provinces and cities, including Chongqing, Shanghai, and Tianjin, after health and virus tests. All will be exempted from 14 day, COVID-19 quarantine on arrival.

By April 29, the remaining COVID-19 infections on the Chinese mainland stood at 619.

In South Korea, no new domestic cases were reported as of Thursday midnight for the first time since the country’s infection peak on February 29, according to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC).
