Britain introduces stricter measures to fight COVID-19

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced Monday evening a series of measures that aim to restrict social contact in the UK, so as to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Johnson said that all shops except for food stores and pharmacies must be closed immediately, and meeting friends will not be allowed.
