Patient's son sentenced to death in high-profile doctor-killing case

A man was given the death sentence for killing a doctor in a hospital where his mother was being treated, a court in Beijing ruled Thursday.

The defendant, Sun Wenbin, was not satisfied with the treatment of his mother at the General Hospital of CAAC and killed the doctor on duty Yang Wen on Dec. 24, 2019, said the third intermediate people's court.
