9 die in stampede in southeastern Bangladesh

At least nine people were killed in a stampede in Bangladesh's Chittagong district, about 242 km southeast of capital Dhaka, as they crowded outside a donor's house Monday morning to receive traditional food for Iftar, the evening meal when Muslims break their fast, during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, police said.
