China hopes France promotes healthy development of China-EU relations along right track

China hopes that France will promote the healthy development of China-U.S. relations on the right track, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said Thursday.

Wang made the remarks during a phone call with Emmanuel Bonne, the French president's diplomatic adviser. He hopes that France will encourage the EU to pursue a positive, rational policy toward China, uphold the basic principles of partnership, and adequately address economic and trade differences through dialogue and consultation.
