MOFA: CGTN documentaries reveal Xinjiang-related issues are about anti-terrorism

　　CGTN‘s four documentaries on Xinjiang reveal that the issues in the region pertain to anti-terrorism and the eradication of extremism， said Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian on Tuesday。

　　Even though Xinjiang has not recorded a single terrorist attack over the past four years， the region continues to face threats and challenges from terrorism and extremism， Zhao told a regular press briefing。

　　CGTN released a 55-minute documentary titled “The war in the shadows： Challenges of fighting terrorism in Xinjiang” last Friday。 It is the fourth documentary by CGTN on the fight against terrorism in northwest China‘s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region。
