China firmly supports WHO's leading role in battling COVID-19: Xi

Chinese President Xi Jinping said Wednesday that China firmly supports the key leadership of the United Nations (UN) system, especially the World Health Organization, in battling COVID-19.

Xi made the remarks during a videoconference with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
