Former top energy official prosecuted for taking bribes

Nur Bekri, former Party secretary as well as the former head of the National Energy Administration has been prosecuted by the procuratorial organ in northeast China's Liaoning Province for taking bribes, the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) said on Tuesday.

He is also former deputy minister of China's National Development and Reform Commission.
