S Korea, DPRK agree to hold military talks on June 14

South Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) agreed Friday to hold talks on military affairs at the border village of Panmunjom to ease military tensions between the two sides.

The agreement was reached after a high-level dialogue between the two sides at Panmunjom, according to Seouls unification ministry. 

S Korea, DPRK start high-level talks at Panmunjom

High-level officials of South Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) started talks at the border village of Panmunjom on Friday, Seoul's unification ministry said.

Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon headed the five-member South Korean delegation, comprised of officials in charge of railway, sports and inter-Korean cooperation. >>>
