China to safeguard Chinese firms' rights: Ministry

China will take necessary measures to resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies, Commerce Ministry spokesperson Gao Feng said at a news briefing on Thursday.

The United States should stop its obstructive behavior and do more to contribute to global economic stability and recovery, he added.
