China's securities regulator denounces Luckin Coffee's financial fraud

The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) on Friday denounced Chinese coffee chain retailer Luckin Coffee for financial misconduct, including fabrication of certain transactions.

Shares of Luckin Coffee plunged by more than 75 percent on Thursday after it announced the suspension of its chief operating officer (COO) and several other employees over their suspected involvement.
