Shenzhen Futian Fashion Day made its return to Paris, France on Sept 29 for its second edition at the Monnaie de Paris, under the Welcome to Paris program of leading fashion organization the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.
Three representative womenswear brands NEXY.CO, YINER and Laurèl (Ellassay Group), showcased their Spring-Summer 2026 collections during the event.
Organized by the Bay Area Sustainable Fashion Alliance, or BASFA, and supported by the Futian district government in Shenzhen, the event aimed to strengthen cultural and creative exchanges between Chinese fashion and the Parisian fashion scene.
This year's event saw BASFA sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Luxurynsight, a French technology company serving leading luxury houses.

Blending tradition and global trends
NEXY.CO unveiled its collection themed "The Time of Mulan", which is inspired by the legendary heroine and symbolized by the magnolia flower. The designs paid tribute to modern women's resilience and grace, combining cultural motifs with a minimalist aesthetic.
YINER presented "The Order of Nature", drawing on fruit and growth as metaphors, and using the golden spiral as a recurring design element. The collection fused Oriental philosophy with Western design principles, translating natural harmony into a contemporary style.
Laurèl, a German brand fully acquired by Shenzhen's Ellassay Group, showcased "The Eternity of Order". Influenced by aesthetics of the Bauhaus artistic movement, the collection featured sharp tailoring and fluid silhouettes, using colors such as glacier green and ebony to emphasize structure and timelessness.

Futian as a fashion base
Shenzhen, one of the largest economic powerhouses in South China, is composed of nine administrative districts and one new area, each with its own distinct character.
Located in the heart of Shenzhen, Futian district is emerging as a strategic driver of China's fashion industry. In 2024, the added value of the fashion industry accounted for 15 percent of regional GDP, with over 1,700 significant enterprises generating more than 524 billion yuan ($73.59 billion) in annual revenue.
Today, Futian has transcended its role as a center for business and corporate headquarters to establish itself as a true incubator of cultural and creative projects, as well as a high-level platform at the intersection of design, technology, and commerce.
