A one-off reunion special of U.S. popular television sitcom "Friends" will start filming in March next year, one of the show's cast members announced Thursday.

"Friends reunion being rescheduled for the beginning of March. Looks like we have a busy year coming up. And that's the way I like it!" tweeted 51-year-old American-Canadian actor Matthew Perry, who plays Chandler Bing in the show that ran for 10 seasons during 1994-2004.

Other cast members have not commented on the news yet.

The unscripted reunion special was announced in February with all cast members back together starring and executive producing. It will be filmed on the show's iconic original soundstage in California.

The special, originally set to be filmed in March, has been delayed several times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, being pushed first to May, then to August, and now to March 2020.
