China's National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA) continued to delight audiences through online concerts, with its second online concert series this year, "Sound of Summer Blooms," having racked up tens of millions of views.

Presented on Saturday evening at the NCPA concert hall, the concert "Pastoral" marked the start of "Sound of Summer Blooms," a second online concert series from the NCPA that comes after the success of the initial spring-themed series over the past weeks.

Featuring classical melodies like Beethoven's "Symphony No. 1 in C major, Op. 21" and "Symphony No. 6 in F major, Op. 68," the concert had garnered more than 35 million views online as of 9 p.m. Sunday, according to figures reported by the Beijing Daily Monday.

Audiences across the world watched the live performance on multiple platforms, including Facebook and Youtube.

The "Sound of Summer Blooms" concert series runs from May 9 to late June, during which symphonies, choruses and operas will be performed, according to the NCPA. Enditem
