China unveils self-developed ultra-high-speed real-time oscilloscope
(ECNS) — China on Wednesday unveiled a self-developed 90GHz real-time oscilloscope at the 2025 WESEMiBAY Semiconductor Ecosystem Expo in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, marking a breakthrough in the country's high-end electronic measurement instruments and breaking the long-standing foreign technology blockade.
According to CCTV news, the new oscilloscope improves the key performance of domestic models by 500 percent and features intelligent optimization and server-level computing power.
It boasts a sampling rate of up to 200 billion times per second and a storage depth of 4 billion sample points, enabling precise capture and analysis of transient signals in nanometer-scale chips.
Experts said the instrument will provide vital support for China's research and development in next-generation communications, artificial intelligence, and aerospace technologies.
