(ECNS)-- A wearable single-person aircraft based on a triple-duct configuration, developed by Hangzhou Zhiyuan Research Institute, has completed its first public flight in Hangzhou, eastern China's Zhejiang Province.

The aircraft, a type of electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) vehicle, features a pioneering three-duct layout with propulsion units on the left, right, and rear — making it the world's first manned aircraft to adopt a control-surface-based three-duct design.

The aircraft allows for hands-free operation and offers agile maneuverability in the air.
