HKJC, CTSHK collaborate to promote Hong Kong's unique attractions

(ECNS) -- The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) and China Travel Service (Holdings) Hong Kong Limited (CTSHK) signed a memorandum of understanding in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on Wednesday, marking a new chapter in their strategic partnership across tourism, sports, culture, and youth exchanges, including joint promotion of equestrian tourism.
The signing ceremony was attended by important officials, including Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of Hong Kong Rosanna Law, Chairman of the Hong Kong Tourism Board Pang Yiu-kai, HKJC CEO Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges, and CTSHK Chairman Wang Haimin.
Rosanna Law welcomed the collaboration, emphasizing its role in promoting equestrian and island tourism, saying it showcases Hong Kong's unique attractions as a world-class travel destination and encourages visits from international tourists.
According to the MoU, the HKJC and CTSHK will work together to promote equestrian tourism by developing integrated horse racing and entertainment travel products. They will also strengthen exchanges in tourism, sports, and culture, fostering closer ties between Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland while contributing to the city's development as a global events hub.
