(ECNS) -- A mobile hospital at the China International Exhibition Center in Shunyi District, Beijing, was put into operation on Tuesday, mainly to receive mild COVID-19 cases.

Beijing reported 388 locally-transmitted confirmed and 1,098 asymptomatic cases on Tuesday, the municipal health commission said Wednesday.

Health authorities advocated that offline gatherings should be held via video and elevators, corridors, toilets, and other public places properly disinfected.

Nursing homes, child welfare institutions, and other key locations should implement closed-loop management and people eligible for vaccination, especially children and seniors, should get vaccinated or receive their booster shot as soon as possible, according to health officials.
