(ECNS) -- Engine replacement services for inbound planes will be conducted at the Hainan Free Trade Port for the first time since the port’s airplane maintenance base went into operation.

An Airbus A320 aircraft serving Royal Air Philippines landed at Haikou Meilan International Airport on Monday. Its engine replacement will be conducted by Grand China Aviation Maintenance Company Limited, a subsidiary of HNA Technic. The maintenance should be finished in three days as planned.

The Hainan Free Trade Port will offer preferential tax policies for maintenance, including exemption of deposits for entry, bonded aviation refueling, and tax exemptions for maintenance of aviation materials.

HNA Technic and its affiliated enterprises have established a one-stop engineering maintenance service at this maintenance industrial base, covering aircraft body overhauls, parts maintenance, spraying and other aviation services.

At present, HNA Technic has reached preliminary cooperation agreements with some overseas airlines.
