Olympic Fine Arts 2022 shows modern Olympic Spirit
(ECNS) -- "Olympic Fine Arts 2022", an official project of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games organized by the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee and the China Association for the Promotion of Culture and Arts, kicked off at the Beijing Mizuo Center on Saturday.
Nearly 800 pieces of fine art were exhibited in five sections — Beauty of Ink Painting, Beauty of Calligraphy, Beauty of Printmaking, Beauty of Sculpture, and International Beauty.
In addition, 300 precious documents and items were exhibited to focus on major events in past Olympic Fine Arts Conferences.
"The 'Olympic Fine Arts 2022' symbolizes Chinese glory and a magnificent page in the history of the Olympic Games and Olympic Arts," said Cai Wu, director of the organizing committee of Olympic Fine Arts 2022, "All exhibitions will become precious treasures of the art world."
