Hong Kong leads Asia in tech innovation ecosystem rankings: white paper

(ECNS) -- Hong Kong’s technology innovation ecosystem scored 370 points, ranking first in Asia and fifth globally, according to a joint white paper released by Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) and market intelligence platform CB Insights on Monday.

The white paper identified high-growth startups and future unicorns by evaluating business momentum, funding capability, market potential, and leadership strength.

The report also highlighted that the Chinese mainland is leading Asia’s Physical AI wave, while Asia leads global funding growth in robotics and artificial intelligence.

The white paper was unveiled at HKSTP's 25th anniversary event. Established in 2001, the HKSTP has been dedicated to driving new industrialization and smart manufacturing, injecting fresh momentum into Hong Kong's innovation-driven economy.
