New highlights unveiled for 2026 CIFTIS

(ECNS) -- The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) will introduce new dedicated exhibition areas to showcase domestic innovations and help local firms expand overseas, according to a State Council Information Office press conference on Friday.

Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Commerce Yan Dong said the event will feature a new “China Service” zone highlighting achievements in service trade, while several thematic sections will debut “Global Service” zones to provide professional support for enterprises entering international markets.

This year’s fair has attracted roughly 90 countries and international organizations, with Norway as the country of honor and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region as the guest province. More than 1,800 exhibitors will participate offline.

CIFTIS will also host the Global Trade in Services Summit, release the Report on China’s Development of Trade in Services, and hold nearly 100 forums on industry liberalization and facilitation.
