Shanghai gears up for 7th China International Import Expo
Shanghai is gearing up for the upcoming 7th China International Import Expo, CCTV reported on Friday.
This year's event, scheduled from Nov 5 to 10, has received confirmation from over 70 countries and international organizations to attend the national exhibition, overtaking last year in its scale.
The enterprise business exhibition will continue to maintain a super-large scale, with more than 360,000 square meters of exhibition area, said Wu Zhengping, deputy director-general of the China International Import Expo Bureau.
The 7th Hongqiao International Economic Forum will include multiple sub-forums on topics related to new quality productive forces, including artificial intelligence, new energy storage, and new energy vehicles, addressing cutting-edge industry trends and global youth issues.
In addition to the flagship report, "World Openness Report 2024," several government agencies and international organizations are set to announce 13 reports and initiatives throughout the forum.
