HZMB's Zhuhai-Macao freight passage opens to traffic

The Zhuhai-Macao freight passage of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) Port officially opened to traffic on August 16. With the Macao Special Administrative Region's (SAR) Lotus Port moving to Hengqin Port, trucks traveling between Zhuhai City and Macao SAR have been temporally reassigned to the new facility. Customs clearance can be completed within 24 hours.

The freight passage will enhance the HZMB's role in promoting the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
