China to speed up exploration of free trade port building: Xi

China will speed up the exploration of the building of free trade ports with Chinese characteristics, President Xi Jinping said Monday.

Xi made the remarks when delivering a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the first China International Import Expo in Shanghai.
