Pilot FTZ policies modified

The State Council, the country's cabinet, on Tuesday announced adjustments to the temporary policies for pilot free trade zones (FTZs) across the country.

According to a statement on the government's website, exclusively foreign-owned enterprises can be established for businesses such as international shipping and management. As for international shipping agency business, foreign-backed companies can own stakes of up to 51 percent in joint ventures with Chinese companies.
