A man from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region uploaded a video of himself talking about his misfortune experience in love, particularly his loneliness after his girlfriend was away.
广西一名男子在女朋友离开后上传了一个自述孤独的视频,然而这名男子不幸的爱情成为网民们的笑谈.
He moaned in his heavy accent,"Unbearable, I want to cry", which in Chinese is "Nanshou xiangku", and these four Chinese characters sound much like "Lanshouxianggu", which in English is "skinny blue mushroom".
他用浓重的口音说："难受,想哭",汉语的书写是"难受,想哭",并且这几个汉字的读音听起来像"蓝瘦香菇",英语翻译为"skinny blue mushroom".
"Lanshouxianggu" soon went viral on the internet and took off as a meme, mostly as a way to mock the southern Guangxi accent. The other English version of "Lanshouxianggu" is "Blue thin mushroom".
很快,"蓝瘦香菇"的表情包就在网上扩散开来,而且大多都在调侃广西南部的口音. 另外一个"蓝瘦香菇"的英语版本是"Blue thin mushroom".
