Supply-side structural reform
"Supply-side structural reform" was proposed by China's policymakers in November, 2015 as the latest remedy for economic ills caused by breakneck growth. The reforms were prioritized in this year's government work report and further elaborated in the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-20). Supply-side reform will advance economic restructuring by reducing ineffective and low-end supply, and boost productivity by expanding medium-to-high-end supply.
2015年11月在中央财经领导小组第十一次会议上"供给侧改革"概念首次被提出.供给侧结构性改革,是指从提高供给质量出发,用改革的办法推进结构性调整,矫正要素配置扭曲,扩大有效供给,提高供给机构对需求变化的适应性和灵活性,提高全要素生产率. 从2015年开始,以去产能、去库存、去杠杆、降成本、补短板为重点的供给侧结构性改革,经中央经济工作会议定调后,已正式拉开大幕.
